Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development

The Department develops and implements a diverse range of programs, initiatives and projects. These activities are designed to: attract and facilitate investment; encourage exports; generate job opportunities; stimulate innovation; create opportunities for businesses and communities; help businesses access skilled workers; create strong regional and rural communities and economies; strengthen earth resources and maintain a competitive energy sector; and promote Victoria.

Department of Employment

The Australian Government Department of Employment is responsible for national policies and programmes that help Australians find and keep employment and work in safe, fair and productive workplaces.

Department of Education and Early Childhood Development

A skilled workforce means greater productivity. Find out more about apprenticeships, including training and incentives, and other ways education and training can help develop your workforce.

Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority

The VRQA registers and monitors education and training providers and apprenticeships and traineeships.

Worksafe Victoria

Is the occupational health and safety arm of the Victorian WorkCover Authority (VWA). It takes the lead role in the promotion and enforcement of health and safety in Victorian workplaces.

Consumer Affairs Victoria

Victoria’s consumer affairs regulator assists Victorians to be responsible and informed businesses and consumers. Consumer Affairs Victoria advise and educate consumers, tenants, businesses and landlords on their rights, responsibilities and changes to the law; register and license businesses and occupations and much more.

Incolink

Is a joint initiative of employer associations and unions in the building and construction industry. Incolink provides employers with a wide range of support services and assistance for both them and their workers.

Worksight

Understanding employer obligations is a challenge to many organisations, both large and small. WorkSight provides specialist workplace relations services to organisations that do not have a dedicated HR resource internally, or where your own HR staff need assistance to deal with a particular project or issue.

Gforce has contributed over $4 million to local community projects and is committed to adding value to its regions with local and social conscious. Not only do we provide financial support but we also encourage our staff to be involved in community service delivery.

Safety Tips & Advice provides advice on how to minimise the risk of injury in specific industries using WorkSafe’s ‘Injury Hotspots’. You will be able to pinpoint the major injury risks in your workplace and will be provided with practical solutions tailored to your industry​.
