Below are some resume templates you can download and start completing. But first, some tips on creating a successful resume…

  • Take care to target your resume for every job application so that it lists the most relevant skills and experiences for the position.
  • Although schooling and experience is highly regarded, there are other ways to demonstrate that you’re the right person for the job:
    • Personal traits – for example, you’re an honest worker; you enjoy working as part of a team
    • Strengths – things you’re good at or enjoy
    • Experiences – volunteering or extra-curricular activities
    • Key responsibilities and achievements… any awards or recognition that you’ve received
  • Under ‘work history’, each employment position listed should have bullet points detailing your responsibilities, tasks and achievements during your time there.
