Traineeship - GIS (Geospatial Information Services)

Barwon Water is Victoria's largest regional urban water corporation, providing high quality water and sewerage services to around 300,000 residents over 8,100 square kilometres. We currently have an exciting opportunity to offer the right person a chance to receive a Certificate III Engineering (Technician) working with Barwon Water.

With your attention to detail and analytical skills, you'll be part of a team that is responsible for maintaining all GIS data sets from; capture and maintenance of the parcel and property map base, creation of billing records, capture of sewer and water infrastructure including new and decommissioned assets, through to auditing and reporting on quality assurance.

With your systematic and efficient approach, you'll bring along excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and problem solving skills. You will also have the ability for learning and using new technologies. Working as part of a team, you are flexible and can also work autonomously, contributing to the overall team goal.
